Nomad Slim Leather Wallet With Integrated Battery (My Perfect Wallet Search Continues)

Tuesday, February 28th, 2017

Good: This wallet is made from high quality durable leather. This leather is designed to be used and worn. The heavier the usage the better the wallet looks and feels.
Good: The wallet has four card slots, two on each side and then a middle pocket for business cards or cash.
Good: This has an integrated battery with a lightening connection so not only do you always have a battery with you for your iPhone but you also always have a charging cable.
Good: The wallet has RIFD blocking technology included. It has hidden copper foil in it that keeps your cards safe from electronic theft.
Bad: This is issue a real problem for me and that is the center pocket is not deep enough to carry cash the way I like to carry it. If you fold your cash in half like I do then your money is going to stick out of the top of the wallet so you have to double fold it in order for it to fit all the way in the center pocket. In reality this is not a huge deal but as I am in search of my perfect wallet I am very particular about certain things.
Bad: The battery has a 2300 mAh battery that will charge the iPhone 7 completely once but it doesn’t have enough juice to get the iPhone 7 Plus, which I carry, from empty to 100%. This is not such a big deal since when you are out, and about and need a charge, getting to 70-80% is usually more then enough to get you through the rest of the day and back to your wall charger.
All in all this is a really sweet wallet. It feels like it will last forever and you don’t have to worry about beating it up because it will look even better the more you use it. One thing I would like to see in a future version of this wallet is the battery pack changed from the typical round battery pack to a slim flat battery that is sewn into one of the sides of the wallet.
The Nomad Slim Leather Wallet with Integrated Battery has its shortcomings as most products do but this wallet is so stylish and useful I still highly recommend it.

Moleskine Two Go Notebook Review And Giveaway

Tuesday, November 29th, 2016

Good: It looks good it’s made of cotton and feels durable.

Good: It’s a two purpose notebook designed to be both notebook and a sketchbook.

Good: It has two bookmarks so you can use one bookmark for sketches and the other for notes or just bookmark two of whatever you want.

Good: It the perfect size and makes writing in it easy and comfortable and it fits really well in the pocket of cargo pants or in a back pocket.

Good: It has a pocket in the back of the book so you can put stuff in there like business cards, money, napkins with a phone number on it or any number of things.

Bad: Its analog so you’ll always have to have something to write with on you to use it. Also its paper so you’ll have to protect it and not lose it, let it get wet or burn it because there is no automatic online backup like there is with a smartphone. Make Your Whole House Smell Great Chemical Free and Smoke Free Holan Essential Oil Diffuser

Saturday, November 19th, 2016

Good: The Oil diffuser is very easy to setup and use you just use the included measuring cup to fill the reservoir with water add a few drops of essential oil to the water put the cover back on and push the button to turn it on.

Good: It has different settings so the diffuser will mist for 30 seconds on and then 30 seconds off or it will mist continually.

Good: There is a light mode and the diffuser lights up with different color LEDs giving the room a fun and cool vibe.

Bad: The unit needs essential oil to work as intended and yet it doesn’t come with any oil. It would have been great if it came with at a little sample bottle as a way to get started but instead I had to go out and buy a bottle of $10 oil. This is not a knock on the actual performance of the unit it’s just a pet peeve of mine when companies don’t include everything needed to make a product work straight out of the box.

Long story short if you want a way for your house to smell really good and fresh without a bunch of chemicals from air fresheners or smoke from burning incense then the Holan Essential Oil Diffuser is a great way to go.

The Best Product Ever Made IMO: The Hydro Flask 64oz Beer Growler

Friday, October 7th, 2016

Good: The Hydro Flask 64oz beer growler is double insulated so it keeps your beer cold for long periods of time without the need for ice or refrigeration.

Good: The Hydro Flask Beer Growler has a large mouth opening so its easy to fill the growler and easy to pour.

Good: The Growler has a nice powder coating which allows for a nice grippy feel but more important to me is it seems to keep the growler from getting hot to the touch. This is really vital especially if you plan on taking this with on a hike or out to a picnic.

Let’s talk about what the Hydro Flask Beer Growler does well and thats keep your beer cold for extended periods of time. To test this out I filled the growler with beer measured the temperature of the beer and then went for a 5.9 mile walk and again tested the temperature when I finished the walk. The growler only gained about two degrees of temperature from the walk.

Bottomline: This is an absolutely fantastic product. I have to admit before owning a Hydro Flask I would have never though I would pay $64.95 for a beer growler now I think this thing is well worth it. This is by far my favorite product I have ever reviewed and cannot recommend it strongly enough.

Your Personal Secret Weapon: The Tomight Tactical Pen Review

Wednesday, August 17th, 2016

Good: The pen is an actual pen. Tactical pens are nothing if they don’t have an actual pen and the Tomight Tactical Pen has a great ballpoint pen included in the feature set and they even include an extra pen refill.

Good: The pen has a glass break on it so it you ever find yourself trapped in a car and can’t get out. You can use the pen to break the car window and escape.

Good: This tactical pen has a LED light. The light has a nice on and off switch and even comes with extra batteries.

Good/Bad: The pen has a hidden knife. You can unscrew the tip of the pen and underneath is a very sharp blade. This is good because if you need a knife to something or need it to use as a weapon its available to you. The downside of this that you can’t take this pen on a plane, at least not in the United States.

Back To School: The Most Fun LED Light Bulb For Dorm Rooms The Coidak RGBW LED Light Bulb Review

Wednesday, August 3rd, 2016

The Coidak RGBW is a LED bulb that doesn’t just light up a room but does it in style.
Good: The first good think about the Coidak RGBW bulb is right in its name and thats the RGB. The light can change its color output from red to green to blue. It can actually even change to yellow and purple or you can create a custom color using the DIY feature.
Good: The W in RGBW means this light can output true white light and therefore can be used for your daily lighting needs.
Good: The light stays cool. Unlike incandescent bulbs LED lights don’t get hot in the same way and most often can be touched even while on.
Good: The light comes with a remote so you can turn the light on and off and use it to change colors and also use it as a dimmer. I only have one of these lights but if you have more than one you can sync multiple bulbs to one remote.
Good: The light has a feature they label on the remote as jump but I like to call it the party feature because it has a strobing color changing party effect.
Good: It has a standard size light socket mount so you can screw it into just about any lamp or light socket.
The bad, to be honest I don’t have anything bad to say about this light. It performs exactly as its supposed to. When I received the RGBW LED Light Bulb it did what I wanted it to do and much more.
Who is this light for? This light is for anyone who wants to add some style to their life. Being able to change the color of your light makes your bedroom, your dorm room or any room more fun and stylish. I also really like this for photographers, filmmakers and YouTubers looking to add a little depth and style to their videos or images.

Great Wallet For World Travellers: Nomad Leather Charging Wallet

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2016

Good: It looks and feels great not good but great. The leather is soft but durable and is designed to look better over time as you scuff it and break it in.
Good: The Charging feature of the wallet is as convenient as one can possibly imagine. You always have a battery back on you ready to charge your phone.
Good: Security, there is RIFD block technology built into the wallet to keep hackers and thieves away from your personal information.
Good: There are six card slots in the wallet so you have plenty of room for your credit cards and ID cards.
Good: The wallet is sized to hold cash from various countries and regions. Including but not limited to the U.S. Dollar and the Euro.
Good: The battery pack has a clever way of blinking to indicate the power level of the battery pack.
Bad: The wallet feels and looks to be very sturdy however battery packs will not last forever and on The Nomad the battery pack is not replaceable. The battery in the wallet is not meant to be your everyday point of charging it is meant for emergency purposes so if you keep that in mind the battery should last for a long time if you’re not using it everyday. However, like all rechargeable batteries they only have so many charges in them and so if you don’t use this all the time your battery in the wallet will last much longer.
Bad: This is both good and bad but the wallet is device specific and I wish it came with adapters so if you bought an iOS version you could easily attach an adaptor to go from iOS to Android. I currently use both iPhone and Android and even though the iPhone 6+ is my main device I would like to be able to use it with both devices if needed.
Concern: This is more of a concern then a bad thing but I wonder how the battery will hold up if it gets wet. I walk a lot for exercise and more than a few times I have been caught out in heavy rain and arrived home soaking wet so I worry if this happens to me when I’m carrying the wallet will the battery stand up to the elements? This can turn it to be a real problem because the battery is not replaceable.
That’s it I really tried to scour over the device and come up with something wrong with it so I could provide balance with this review but the Nomad Charging Wallet really is just that good. It delivers on the promise of style and function and so this wallet get the Travelers Choice Award. There is no need to hunt around for an available outlet in the airport when you have the Nomad Charging Wallet all of your mobile charging needs are right in your back pocket.
