Step by Step How To Install Kodi On The Apple TV 4 With A Windows PC For Free

Friday, October 28th, 2016

To install Kodi on your Apple TV 4 using a Windows PC you are going to need a few things listed below.
1. You are going to need a USB C to USB A cable so you can connect the Apple TV to your computer. You can get them for a few dollars on line and here is a link to the one I bought and use and works great for me.
2. You are going to need a free or paid Apple iTunes Developer’s account. If you already have an iTunes account, which I am going to assume you have if you own an Apple TV, all you have to do is associate that account with the Developer’s Program. You can sign up for the developer’s program and if needed create an iTunes account here:
3. You need Cydia Impactor which will resign your IPA app file with your developer’s account information. You can download Cydia Impactor here:
4.Finally, you need a Kodi IPA file that you can re-sign and install. Here is a link to an IPA file that you can use for re-signing.
Make sure you re-sign the IPA file with your own developer account info otherwise the IPA file I provided won’t work for you. Enjoy and please comment on your successes and failures with this method. I hope it works for you as well as it worked for me.
If you want Kodi on your Apple TV to last for a year without having to reinstall every 7 days check out this service its the best I have found online.

How To Get Around GeoBlocking In Kodi And On The Apple TV 4 Without A VPN

Thursday, October 27th, 2016

This video is a special request from M Goff thanks for pointing out the need and I hope the video helps. Step by step see how to bypass the geo-blocking restrictions you might encounter trying to watch apps from other countries or accessing certain content in Kodi. If you are outside of the UK and want to the BBC iPlayer this will get you there. If you are Outside of the US and want to watch American channels this will help and the best part is because its not a VPN it won’t slow down your connection at all which vital when trying to to stream HD video. Unlock the true power of the Apple TV and Kodi using a DNS service by Trickbyte. Here is a link to the site.

To be upfront this solution is not free but it is inexpensive and it works. When you buy the Apple TV 4 service not only do you get Kodi but you also get access to other apps like Popcorn Time for free movies and TV shows, Live Wire for free Live TV, a Web Browser and a few other apps. A Great FireTV and Kodi Accessory The SideClick Remote

Wednesday, October 26th, 2016

The Sideclick is both a pleasure to own and a disappointment at the same time. When I saw this product I thought that somehow it synced and interacted with the FireTV remote to bring additional features to the FireTV but what it turned out to be is a separate universal remote with hook to hold the FireTV remote.
Good: It’s relatively small so you won’t have a giant remote taking up space on the coffee table or couch but with the FireTV remote attached it is a little wider than your average remote so size wise it’s about the same as other universal remote.
Good: It’s pretty simple to pair as the process is straight forward. You push and hold the power button and the B button until the red light goes solid. It’s now in pairing mode and your simply push the button on the SideClick you want to program and you then push the button on you TV remote for the function you want your SideClick to do. For instance, you push the power button on the Sideclick and then you push the power button on your TV remote and this will make the power button on your Sideclick turn your TV on and off.
Good: The Remote pairs with multiple devices. You can for instance pair the Sideclick to power off the TV and also adjust the volume on your tuner.
Good: Its easy to attach your FireTV remote to the Sideclick and easy to remove the FireTV remote if needed.
Bad: The Sideclick is just another universal remote but with a FireTV attachment. There is no real synchronization or integration of the Sideclick and FireTV remotes. The only integration is that the two remotes are placed side by side next to each other.
Bad: As a universal remote it really does have limited functionality. You can program functions from multiple remotes but you can’t program buttons to handle multiple functions at one time. For instance with my Logitech Harmony remote with the push of one button I can turn on my TV, tuner, and Apple TV however with the Sideclick I have to program separate buttons to turn on the TV the tuner and even the volume up and down buttons.
Bad: The Sideclick says on the box its supposed to include two AAA batteries and mine did not and I had to go out and buy batteries. I am personally annoyed by that. If a product is supposed to include items like batteries then make sure those items are included.
Summary: If you only have the a FireTV and a TV then the Sideclick is a great option because you can program everything from your TV remote to the Sideclick but if you need to program multiple devices and functions like input changes from a tuner or if you have other devices like a stereo, DVD player, another streaming box or a cable DVR box then you might want to consider a more comprehensive universal remote.

Legitimate Kodi Replacement For iPhones and iPads Get Every Movie And TV Show In One App

Tuesday, October 25th, 2016

*** Shortly after publishing this video the app was pulled from the Appstore so I am putting link to the IPA below. You have to resign the app and then sideload it or won’t work***
This may be the best app entertainment app ever for iOS devices and a legitimate Kodi replacement for iOS. You can legitimately get every Movie and TV Show on your iPhone and iPad for free once you buy the app. This app used to be free and now they are charging $2.99 but all of the content is free. Its like the Android apps Megabox HD and Terrarium combined into an iOS super app and you get it legitimately through the Apple AppStore. There is one small catch when I tried to download the app through the US AppStore I couldn’t find it but I was able to get through the UK AppStore. So, if you want this app and you have an iTunes account from a different country check that country’s AppStore first. If you need a foreign iTunes account just change the iTunes store on your computer and create a new account its that simple. Anyway this is one of those apps I don’t think is going to last very long and I’m not even sure how it got past the Apple approval process so I would get it while the gettin it good. With this app you can cancel your Hulu and Netflix accounts because you won’t need them anymore. The app is called Movie Lab check it out.

Watch Me Get Drunk For Science And Review The Drinkmate Breathalyzer

Monday, October 24th, 2016

Drinkmate was kind enough to send me an iPhone version of their breathalyzer and so I am getting drunk to to show you how it works. I also talk about the good and the bad of the device and there is a lot to like about it.
A recent was for a beer growler so I feel like it is the responsible thing to show you a device that will help you drink more responsibly. With the Drinkmate Breathalyzer you can always be aware of your Blood Alcohol Content.
Good: Drinkmate comes with a carrying case so you can take it with you everywhere and you are never without a Breathalyzer.
Good: You don’t have to touch the Drinkmate to your lips for it to work which is a huge advantage over other Breathalyzers because you don’t carry mouthpieces and not needing a mouthpiece makes using the Drinkmate Breathalyzer a very social experience because you can share with your friends and family without having to worry about anyone giving or getting cooties from the Drinkmate.
Good: No batteries needed. I can not stress how big of a deal this is. It seems everything nowadays requires batteries and has there own proprietary charger so not having to worry about batteries means the Drinkmate is ready to go all of time.
Good: The Drinkmate is inexpensive. They found a way to price this at $34.99 and one of the reasons I haven’t bought a personal breathalyzer before is because the good ones have been priced at $99 and up. Drinkmate makes owning a quality accurate breathalyzer affordable for everyone.
Bad: The only downside is the Drinkmate has both iOS and Android versions but you have to choose which model you want at time of purchase. I would really like it if they could design the device to work with both iOS and Android or provide adaptors so you can use the same breathalyzer with different mobile devices. I have both an iPhone and an Android phone and I don’t want to have to purchase a separate device for each phone and more importantly I don’t want to have to think about which version of the Drinkmate I have on me and then remember to take the corresponding phone with me. It would be great if the lightening connector was reversible with a either a USB C or Micro USB connector on the other side.
According to the Cleveland Clinic for someone who weighs 210 pounds, which I do, would have to drink nine alcoholic drinks within a one hour period to reach or exceed the legal limit which in the US is .08 I’m going to see if the Drinkmate breathalyzer shows me above or below that with that amount of drinks in one hour. Wish me luck.
